WRT Update — Sunday, June 14, 2026

🔑 Today’s Highlights

  • New “Animal Husbandry” feature added (Hunter job / experimental) — Tranquilize and capture wild animals (chickens, rabbits, boars, deer) for three different uses: keep them in pens to harvest products (eggs, meat, leather), take them along as companions, or send them out as guards to hunt zombies.
  • Reorganized job-specific workstations and the “WRT Crafting Station” — You can now craft coins, job armor, and specialized tools grouped into per-job tabs (Lumberjack, Farmer, Engineer, Hunter, Nomad).
  • Reworked job armor contracts into a “digging (buried cache)” format — Now a race format where you dig up buried supply crates within a time limit. Added tiered buried caches.
  • Finished and stabilized the completion flow for the “Higashi” challenge — Added a “congratulations” dialog on completion, progress reset, boss summon bug fixes, and more.
  • Improved the remaining-time display on the left HUD (timed buffs now show name + remaining time).

✨ New Content & Changes

New Feature: Animal Husbandry (Hunter job, experimental)

  • Weaken wild animals by shooting them with tranquilizer darts (crafted from snake venom), then capture them with a capture cage. Captured animals have three uses:
    • Keep in a pen — Feed them with feed → wait a while → loot the nest/harvest to obtain eggs, feathers, raw meat, and leather → feed again to repeat.
    • Companion (pet) — Release them at your base to hang out together.
    • Guard — Release them and they’ll hunt zombies for you.
  • Target animals are chickens, rabbits, boars, and deer. You can also grow your herd through breeding (hatching fertilized eggs).
  • All the tools are crafted at the Animal Husbandry Workstation. A dedicated chapter has been added to the in-game guidebook.

Job-Specific Workstations & the WRT Crafting Station

  • Added “General / Event” category tabs to the WRT Crafting Station to make it easier to find what you’re looking for.
  • WRT Coins, armor, and specialized tools are now displayed grouped into per-job tabs.
  • Each job now has a dedicated workstation (the Farmer’s folding farming bench, the Hunter’s animal husbandry workstation, the Engineer’s and Lumberjack’s benches, and the Nomad’s camp workshop).
  • Set up job bundles (open one to get a job-specific armor box + dedicated workstation) for Lumberjack, Farmer, Engineer, Hunter, and Nomad.

New Job: Nomad

  • Added the Nomad’s camp workshop, which crafts a whole set of working appliances, a sink that produces water, and a lighting set. Crafting and using it requires the Nomad armor set, and the higher the set’s tier (T2–T6), the more equipment you can make.
  • Also set up Nomad mastery and the guidebook.

Lumberjack Job

  • Rolled out dedicated Lumberjack content in earnest. Recipes are now actually unlocked according to the tier of your set’s quality.
  • Moved T6 from the utility pole to the wood bundle and cleaned up the wood ladder.

Job Armor Contracts (reworked into digging format)

  • Reworked contract defense into a “dig up the buried supply crate” structure. It’s now a race format where digging it up within the time limit completes it instantly, and running out of time is a failure.
  • Made the buried cache crates tiered (staging whether they’re locked, their contents, and the progress tickets they grant). Rebuilt them as Primitive (T1–T6).

The “Higashi” Challenge

  • Now displays a “congratulations on finishing” dialog when you use a completion ticket. Finishing now removes all buffs, resets progress, and sets a completion flag.
  • Cleaned up the capture markers so only those for the current floor are shown (they disappear on relog and are kept on death).

Display (HUD)

  • Timed buffs (challenge time limits, job contracts, letters, recruitment tags, etc.) now show name + remaining time in the status bar on the left of the screen. You can tell at a glance “what” and “how many minutes left.”

🔧 Fixes & Tweaks

  • Animal Husbandry: Fixed a bug where guards and pets would attack the player (adjusted them to join the White River faction and target only zombies). Also fixed an error when summoning a companion.
  • Higashi: Fixed a bug that crashed on boss summon on each floor, across all 7 floors.
  • Higashi: Fixed a bug where the 6F boss’s reward could come up empty.
  • Lumberjack: Fixed a bug where mastery wasn’t showing on the challenge screen (moved it to the second tab).
  • Fixed several bugs where supply boxes and job bundles would come up empty or fail to load.
  • Made minor cleanups to the wording (localization).

⏸ Being Tuned (Experimental)

  • Animal Husbandry (Hunter job), the digging-format job-specific workstations and contracts, and the “Higashi” challenge are still experimental. We’ll keep tuning them based on how they actually feel in play.
