[V3.0] For Server Admins: Migrating to SandboxCode and Carrying Over Your V2.6 Save

With V3.0 adding over 150 sandbox settings, some of the legacy (old) options that used to be configured in serverconfig.xml have been migrated to the new SandboxCode XML property. Server operators will need to take action.

Steps to Carry Over Your V2.6 Save Data

  1. In the in-game sandbox settings menu, recreate the settings from your old serverconfig.xml
  2. Copy the generated code
  3. Paste it as the value of the SandboxCode property in your V3.0 serverconfig.xml

* Server providers have been notified in advance, but depending on the setup you may need support from the provider you’re using. Note that the published default value of SandboxCode corresponds to the legacy difficulty setting “Adventurer (=1)” setup.
