🔑 Today’s Highlights

  • Major cleanup of the in-game Guide/Challenge menus — consolidated categories for a cleaner, more readable layout.
  • Territory Challenges consolidated into just two categories, “West” and “East” (the contents remain unchanged).
  • [In development] A new grind feature, “Primitive Survivor Mastery,” is in the works for Blood Moon scavenging (*not yet live on the server).

✨ New Features & Changes

Reorganizing the Guide/Challenge Menu

  • “WRT Basics” and “Grind” have been merged into a single “WRT” category (6 rows).
    • Top 3 rows = Basics: Territory & Factions / Gear & Jobs / Events
    • Bottom 3 rows = Grind: Completion / High-Tier Hunts / Territory & Survival
    • Removed the unused blank rows to make things easier to read.
  • Territory Challenges compressed into two categories, “West” and “East” — the previous four categories (Northwest / Northeast / Southeast / Southwest) have been combined into two, now showing 8 regions per row. The challenge goals and rewards are unchanged.
  • Reorganized the command manual — split into “one command = one entry” so each explanation is concise, and unified the command-list guidance under /tag (the old /xxx-list commands have been retired).
  • Community / Profile (/pf) / Teleport manuals have been updated to match the new specifications.

Creative Mode

  • Roughly 1,500 affixes (special effects) and 192 clothing variants added by WRT are now shown in the Creative menu (this is an adjustment for bug testing and does not affect normal play).

🧪 In Development (*not live on the server, in testing)

The following are features being developed and tested locally, and are not yet reflected on the server.

Primitive Survivor Mastery (Blood Moon Scavenging)

We’re creating a Blood Moon-exclusive grind feature for players wearing the full Primitive Survivor gear set.

  • Fight through a Blood Moon in the full set and you can rarely obtain a new key item, the “Primitive Survivor’s Proof,” by scavenging zombie corpses.
  • Collect 10 Proofs to forge a “Medal” → using it grants a permanent boost (Health +15 / Stamina +20 / running & swimming stamina regen +20% / harvesting +20%) and a title displayed on your HUD.
  • We’ve set up a 4-step challenge: “Survive the Blood Moon → collect Proofs → craft the Medal → use it to master.
  • During a Blood Moon, we’ve added a HUD prompt encouraging scavenging, and included a dedicated manual entry in the guidebook.

Salvage Boxes (Recovering Decorative Items)

We’re developing a system where you recover decorative items from ruins as “boxes,” and opening one gives you a random item.

  • Targets include decorative blocks such as signs, fixtures, store shelves, electronics shelves, street lamps, sinks, and projectors (each category has its own dedicated box).
  • Two acquisition routes are provided: Scavengers can pick them up, and Nerds can craft them.
  • The higher your gear set’s tier, the more types of boxes you can obtain and craft (signs = common through projectors = rare).
  • Still experimental — the contents and acquisition methods may change.

Letter System (Letters That Reward You When Read)

We’re prototyping “letters” that trigger random rewards or events when read.

  • Reading a letter runs a weighted draw that can grant food, medical supplies, ammo, fuel, building materials, parts, currency, skill points, commission quests, and more (over 30 types in all).
  • Besides big and jackpot wins, there’s the occasional thrill of an enemy raid or a light curse, as well as just a blank sheet (a miss).
  • Leave one unread for a certain period (about 5 minutes) and it turns into an ordinary piece of paper.
  • Still at the proof-of-concept (PoC) stage — the reward contents and probabilities are being tuned.

Fixing the Armor (Job) Quests

We’re fixing and adjusting bugs in the quests (contracts) tied to the job armor sets. We’ll roll them out once verification is complete.
