As the “admin” in its internal name giveXP_T5_admin indicates, it is not something you obtain or craft naturally through normal play; rather, it’s best thought of as a “tool”-type item intended to be spawned from the creative menu or via admin privileges.
Its function is simple: to grant a large amount of experience (XP) to a player all at once. The name “Tier 5” suggests that, even among items of the same family, it belongs to a higher-end category with a larger grant amount (since the exact figures may vary by version and server settings, checking in-game is the surest way to confirm).
When to Use It
- MOD and skill testing: When you want to quickly reach a target level range and verify the behavior of high-tier perks and recipes.
- Preparing for events/recording: When you want to recreate a specific level of progression for a feature article or a stream.
- Assisting with server operations: Limited relief uses such as handling bugs or recovering after a rollback.
Note that since this essentially skips the growth a player would otherwise earn on their own, it is ill-suited for general distribution on a normal server. Even in our community’s MOD environment, it’s safest to limit its handling to administrators and testers.
