The world of 7 Days to Die contains a handful of amusing items that proudly proclaim themselves to be utterly useless. Poop (internal name: twitchTurd) is the prime example. Just as the name suggests, it’s, well, “poop” itself.
Uses
To get straight to the point: it has no use. Even the in-game description goes all-in on self-deprecation, with the item declaring “You don’t need this,” “Completely pointless,” “Worthless,” and “Toss it already!” Don’t go expecting any practical benefit like using it as a crafting material or selling it to a trader for a tidy sum.
As the “twitch” in its internal name suggests, it’s most naturally understood as a novelty item sent in by viewers as a gift (read: prank) during Twitch integration events on stream. In other words, its true purpose is to be enjoyed as part of the spectacle of being “gifted” it by viewers during a broadcast.
When to Use It
- For jokes and screenshots: Slip it into your inventory as a little gag for streams or social media.
- Appreciating the description: The taunting text that appears the moment you pick it up is this item’s greatest “content.”
Once you pick it up, give the description a read, crack a smile, and then, just as instructed, gracefully drop it. It does nothing but occupy a single inventory slot, so unless you’re after it for collection purposes, there’s no reason to hang onto it.
💡 On stream, aim for the moment when “poop arrives from a viewer” and capture your reaction for a good laugh. Precisely because it’s worthless, it’s an item that shines when you turn it into comedy.
