Farming composter now fully operational — Make compost from organic matter (rotting flesh, raw meat, animal fat, feathers) plus plants and clay. We’ve also added “crop alerts” that let you know which crops need tending as you walk through your field.
Reworked job armor contracts — Take contracts from a broker at each of the 5 traders, and complete them right on the spot. Rewards can be chosen from trader-specific job armor, now supporting all 16 jobs × T1–T6.
Enhanced the “Higashi” challenge — Defeat the boss on each floor to drop a clear key and advance to the next floor. You’ll also earn coin rewards for kills during the challenge.
✨ New Features & Changes
Farming
Composter now makes compost. Put plants (grass, fiber, crops) / organic matter (rotting flesh, raw meat, animal fat, feathers) / clay into the input slot to make compost. Rotting flesh can be gathered plentifully from zombies.
Added compost to the Tier 2 unlock list. We’ve tuned the cost of compost to be a bit steeper.
Crop alerts (experimental) — When you approach crops at a problem stage, your toolbelt notifies you with “Needs Watering” / “Needs Tending.” Looking at a crop also shows its current status name.
Gathering bonus (experimental) — While wearing the full farmer set, cutting grass / digging soil has a low chance to yield a bundle of soil earthworms (material for loosening compacted fields).
Super Corn — As a Tier 6 premium crop, it can now be watered and grown on dedicated plots just like other WRT crops (two waterings for a bumper harvest plus returned seeds).
Job Armor Contracts (reworked)
Placed brokers at the 5 traders (Joel / Jen / Bob / Hugh / Rekt) for clear separation. Contracts now follow a stable flow of take on the spot → defend → complete without traveling.
Rewards now use a system where you choose from trader-specific job armor (the random box has been retired).
Defense waves now add a varied mix of zombies each wave (with a raised cap) for more of a challenge. The remaining time is shown on the HUD.
We’ve rolled out these stable contracts to all 16 jobs × T1–T6.
“Higashi” Challenge (enhanced)
Added a clear key (dropped on boss defeat) and periodic spawns on cleared floors to each floor. The conditions for climbing floors are now clear.
Bosses are now randomized for variety. You earn coin rewards for kills during the challenge (more on higher floors).
Migrated progression to a buff-based approach (use an item → summon the boss → face waves and a time limit until defeat).
🔧 Fixes & Adjustments
Fixed a bug where the composter timer would stop.
Overhauled the farming descriptions (localization) across the board (including fixing a bug where descriptions were cut off partway).
Fixed contract-related bugs, such as the contract board becoming empty and errors near traders.
Fixed a bug where Discord “○○ has captured” notifications were spammed with the same content.
⏸ Being Tuned (experimental)
Farming crop alerts (notification frequency and range) / grass-cutting and soil-digging gathering bonus / job armor contracts / Higashi are experimental. We’ll keep tuning them based on how they feel in actual play.
