🔑 Today’s Highlights

  • New “Higashi” challenge debuts (experimental) — A climbing challenge where you ascend through the floors. Each floor has a shop and a boss fight, with a 60-minute time limit. Stream viewers can summon the bosses. A live results readout (rank, personal-best floor reached, clears, number of attempts) is shown on the HUD.
  • Job armor contracts overhauled — Take on a random mix of three contract types (“Siege / Sweep / Excavation”) × tiers (T1–T6) from the broker. Overall difficulty has been raised.
  • UI cleanup — Added a battle-status (Higashi) HUD, laid out side by side with the held-item skill display for better readability. Added a “Higashi” tab to the ESC menu, and switched commands/rules to bilingual Japanese-English labels.

✨ New Features & Changes

New “Higashi” Challenge (experimental)

  • A brand-new tiered climbing challenge. Start from the lower floors and aim for the top.
  • Each floor has its own dedicated shop (vending machine) and quests, and the higher the floor, the harder it gets.
  • Designed with a 60-minute time limit, and dying does not immediately end the run, so you can challenge it repeatedly.
  • Each floor’s boss can be summoned from the stream’s Twitch, and defeating it lets you advance.
  • Challenges start from a dedicated ticket. The HUD shows a live results readout (rank, personal-best floor reached, clears, number of attempts).
  • Screamers are drawn in by gunfire (kept in check during boss fights).

Job Armor Contract Quests (overhauled)

  • Contracts are taken on from the broker (an NPC who arranges jobs over the radio).
  • A single broker presents multiple random candidates of the three types “Siege / Sweep / Excavation” × T1–T6 (each option comes with a tier label).
  • Difficulty has been raised across the board (especially bringing up the early-game T1).

HUD & UI

  • Added a battle-status (Higashi) HUD, laid out side by side with the held-item skill display (eliminating overlap).
  • Improved the readability of the equipment skill display (level, experience, and experience to next level) while an item is held.
  • Added a “Higashi” tab to the ESC menu. Made command/rule labels bilingual (English first).

🔧 Fixes & Adjustments

  • Fixed issues with Higashi and the contract quests, such as “the board is empty,” “NPC names don’t appear,” and “the accept ticket is grayed out and unreadable.”
  • Stabilized Higashi’s boss fights, zombie spawns, and overall progression.

⏸ Under Adjustment (experimental)

  • Higashi and the job armor contracts are in experimental operation. Balance and progression will continue to be adjusted going forward.
