“MPLogue’s V3.1 Prefabs” is a pack that brings together the distinctive structures (POIs/prefabs) that author Michael Logue has created over time for the world of 7 Days to Die. It is said that a July 2025 update added support for game version 3.0.
What Kind of MOD Is It?
This MOD is a “prefab collection” that adds buildings—POIs (Points of Interest)—that appear on randomly generated maps. Rather than significantly changing the game’s rules or items, it appears to be the type of MOD that increases the variety of structures you can explore.
It includes 42 POIs, and just reading the names reveals a playful lineup. It covers a wide range, from ones that evoke real-world landmarks such as “Basilica Cistern,” “Petra Temple,” and “Svalbard Global Seed Vault,” to strongly parody-flavored ones like “Rave Cave,” “Swingers Pad,” and “Monkey Fightin’ Sneks.”
Main Features
- Adds 42 POIs all at once: Several of these are said to be newly added in the update.
- Large cities appear in other biomes too: Because these POIs use “Rural” (urban) tiles, the
rwgmixerhas reportedly been adjusted so that large cities—which normally only spawn in the Wasteland—are generated in other biomes as well. Opinions may be divided on how this shifts the overall look of the landscape. - Must be installed on both client and server: For multiplayer, it seems the same MOD needs to be installed on both the server and the participating players.
Installation Tips
As with typical MODs, you extract the downloaded ZIP and place it in the Mods folder (for example: C:Usersユーザー名AppDataRoaming7DaysToDieMods). It seems the game’s own Mods folder is fine as well.
An important note: this MOD requires generating a new map, and it will not be reflected in existing saves or existing maps. After installing, be sure to create a new random map. In multiplayer, as mentioned above, the installation needs to be aligned across the server and all players. It’s a good idea to back up your save before installing for peace of mind.
Who Is It Recommended For?
- Those who want to add POIs that are fresh in both look and theme to exploration that has grown stale
- Those who enjoy a playful landscape, such as real-landmark-style or novelty buildings
- Those planning to start a new world (since it can’t be used with existing saves)
Conversely, it may not be well suited to those who want to continue their current save as-is, or those who want to preserve the atmosphere of vanilla townscapes. We recommend trying it when you’re starting a new adventure.
