White River Territory (WRT) Core is the “foundation” MOD for playing on the 7DAYSTODIE.JP official servers. It bundles together the systems shared across the server, such as the ESC menu’s Guide/Territory screens, in-game guidebooks, and distinctive weapons and items. The other MODs in the series (jobs, gear, events, and so on) run on top of this Core.
This page describes an original MOD for the official servers. The actual ways to obtain things and the finer details of events may change depending on how the server is being operated.
The Primitive Weapon “Tasa” Series
A series of weapons and tools with a primitive look. Their icons have a slightly reddish tint, and they are all repaired using only their dedicated material, “Tasa Shards.”
| Display Name | Type |
|---|---|
| Tasa Stone Shovel | Shovel |
| Tasa Wooden Club | Club |
| Tasa Stone Spear | Spear |
| Tasa Stone Sledgehammer | Sledgehammer |
| Tasa Crude Bow | Bow |
| Tasa Bone Knife | Knife |
| Tasa Leather Knuckles | Knuckles |
Tasa weapons have their own quirks.
- Holding one during normal times has a low chance of inflicting the “Tasa Curse,” saddling you with penalties such as slowed movement, weakening, bleeding, and dizziness. It wears off once you put the weapon away.
- Holding one on the night of a Blood Moon triggers the “Tasa Awakening,” greatly increasing your damage dealt and drastically reducing your stamina consumption. These are weapons that stay modest most of the time and go wild only during the Blood Moon.
The repair material “Tasa Shards” is obtained only when you scrap a Tasa-series item (scrapping one yields 2). By cycling between scrapping and repairing, you can keep using them for a long time.
The Tasa Torch
Holding it while equipped puts you in the “Tasa Torch Hellfire” state, continuously burning zombies within 5m of you. On top of that, while it’s lit your own HP gradually regenerates. It’s a piece that serves both as an offensive tool and a means of survival.
Letters Carried on the Wind
When you pick one up and “read” it, a random outcome occurs depending on its contents (supplies, experience, and rarely an unfavorable event). The higher the rank, the more likely a good outcome. If left alone for a while after delivery, it turns into scrap paper, so read it sooner rather than later.
ESC Menu: Guide and Territory
Dedicated pages are added to the ESC menu.
- Guide: The server’s current rules and an overview of each page.
- Territory: The 8×8 region board and the power status of the four factions (the same power board also appears on the HUD on the right side of the screen).
* The actual territory control (occupation, joining/transferring factions) is handled by the territory MODs. On its own, the Core shows the screen frame, but the functionality becomes active once a territory MOD is installed.
Learning from In-Game Books
Many WRT strategy and tutorial books are added to the “Books” tab on the skills screen (read-only pages you can browse for free). They’re organized by category—Welcome/Guide, how to read gear, commands, events, and more. When you’re stuck, opening this up first is recommended.
WRT Craft Station
A shared workbench that consolidates all WRT-related crafting into a single station. When you install the corresponding job MODs, that job’s recipes will line up here.
