どんなMOD？

『Escape from Tarkov（EFT）』の世界観を7 Days to Dieに持ち込むオーバーホールMODは以前から人気ですが、オーバーホールはゲーム全体の仕様を大きく書き換えてしまうため、「銃だけ欲しい」という人には導入しづらい面がありました。

EFTX Extraction V2 ONLY は、そのEFTオーバーホールから武器・弾薬・武器MOD・注射器・応急処置アイテム、そしてそれらをクラフトするための材料コンポーネント一式を抜き出した、モジュラー型のスタンドアロンMODのようです。EFTチームがリソースの共有を許可したうえで作られており、オーバーホール本体の「特別さ」を守るため、本家にあるすべての要素が入っているわけではない、と説明されています。

作者は M14・CloserEx・BryanDVS・Stallionsden の連名。カテゴリはWeaponsで、Nexusのページは mods/7819 です。

主な特徴

  • 武器まわりに特化 — 銃本体だけでなく、弾薬・武器MOD・クラフト材料までセットで入るため、パック単体で完結した運用ができるようです。
  • 他MODとの併用を想定した設計 — 作者は「他のMODと一緒に使いやすいように作った」と明言しています。配信者FNS氏のモジュラーなWabbajack構成では、本MODが400以上の他MODと併せて使われている例が紹介されています。
  • Izy's AIO Weapons Pack との互換性 — 大型武器パックとの共存が考慮されているのは、盛り盛り構成を組む人には嬉しいポイントです。
  • ゲームバージョン2.0専用 — 説明文では「exclusively compatible with game version 2.0」と書かれており、他バージョンでの動作は想定されていないようです。

導入のヒント

一般的なMOD導入と同じく、Mods フォルダへ展開する形になると思われますが、このMODには特に注意すべき点が2つあります。

  1. 旧EFTX Extraction系MODとアドオンは、導入前にすべて削除する。 作者が大文字で強調している項目です。上書きではなく削除が前提のようです。
  2. EFTオーバーホール本体とは併用しない。 これは「非推奨」ではなく「エラーが出る」と明記されています。EFT系は本家かEFTXのどちらか一方を選ぶ、と考えるのが安全です。

サーバーで使う場合、武器やアイテムを追加するMODは通常クライアント側にも同じものが必要になります。参加者全員に同一バージョンを配布できる体制かどうか、事前に確認しておくと安心です。

なお作者は「有料サービス経由でEFTXや自分のMODを入手した人は詐欺に遭っている」と注意喚起しています。入手は必ずNexus公式ページから行ってください。

こんな人におすすめ

  • EFTの銃火器は使いたいが、ゲーム全体のバランスまで変えられるのは避けたい人
  • 多数のMODを組み合わせて自分好みの構成を作りたい人
  • Izy's AIO Weapons Pack など、他の武器パックと合わせて武器バリエーションを増やしたい人

逆に、EFTの世界観そのものを丸ごと味わいたい人には本家オーバーホールのほうが向いています。EFTXは「オーバーホールの分割版」ではなく「オーバーホールから武器だけを取り出した別物」という位置づけを理解しておくと、選択を間違えにくいはずです。

  • 鯖内での立ち位置を明示する導線 — EFT系は「本家 or EFTX」の二者択一で事故りやすいので、記事末尾に「当コミュニティの◯◯鯖では △△ を採用」という一文を足せると、読者の導入判断がそのまま参加動線になります。
