OCB Stop Fuel Waste (author: ocbMaurice) is a modest but effective quality-of-life MOD that solves the problem of fuel continuing to burn and going to waste even after processing is finished. When there is nothing left to craft in your forge, cooking, and so on, it automatically stops the burning to save fuel.
This page is a template for setup notes. I’ll grow it over time by gradually adding my impressions from actually using it.
What kind of MOD is it?
- Automatically stops fuel burning once production, smelting, melting, and the like are complete
- Prevents wasting fuel such as wood and coal
- A Harmony-based MOD that hooks into the game’s behavior
Supported Versions and Installation
- Download the latest version from the original Nexus page
- Place it in the
Mods/folder - ⚠ EAC (anti-cheat) is not supported. Please launch with EAC turned off (because it rewrites behavior via Harmony)
- *Be sure to check the Nexus page for the supported version
Compatibility and Notes
- Because you need to turn EAC off, it can’t be used on servers that require EAC
- It overlaps in role with similar “fuel management / auto-stop” MODs, so if you install one, use only one or the other
