How to Play the Higashi Pharmaceutical Challenge — A No-Death Building-Climb Time Attack

The Higashi Pharmaceutical Challenge is a climbing event unique to our server. Starting from level 1 with no gear, you take on a time attack to climb the “Higashi Pharmaceutical Building” from the bottom floor all the way to the rooftop, without dying and within a time limit. It’s a great event for streaming and fun to spectate as well.

Rules Overview

• Take on the challenge starting from level 1 with no gear
• Climb the building from the bottom floor → rooftop
• No deaths (you must not die along the way) is a requirement
• Reach the goal within the time limit (about 60 minutes)
• Each floor has a boss that drops a breakthrough key when defeated. Use the key to secure that floor and move on to the next
• Anyone who completes the challenge by conquering the top floor (6th floor) is announced across all servers

How to Join

1. Type /wrc in in-game chat … gather up (declare participation)
2. /wrcstart … start the challenge
3. Defeat each floor’s boss to get the key → secure the floor → move up
4. Reach the goal on the rooftop to clear it

Screamers (screaming zombies) appear periodically during the challenge. Watch out for the noise and the reinforcements, and work your way through with smart positioning.

Strategy Tips

• Positioning while unarmed is key. Make use of fleeing, luring, and the terrain
• Don’t force a head-on fight with bosses. Use each floor’s layout to take them on one at a time
• Be mindful of time management. Don’t linger too long on any one floor
• You can attempt it as many times as you like, so start by learning the layout
