The Bear Statue Event is a server-exclusive event tied to the White River Territory (WRT) territory system. By placing Bear Statues (Kumazou), you contribute to the national power of the region you’re in. It’s easy to jump into, and the appeal is getting to help shape the balance of power across the territories.
How It Works
- Placing a Bear Statue adds a plus to the national power of the faction that controls that region.
- The more everyone adds Bear Statues, the stronger that territory’s influence grows.
- Since it’s tallied region by region, the key is to think about “where to build things up” when placing them.
Two Kinds of Bear Statues
- Bear Statue (Normal) … Adds to national power. The basic item everyone places to build up their territory.
- Bear Statue (Cursed) … A “cursed” Bear Statue with negative national power. It can only be obtained through limited means such as event supply drops, and can be used to chip away at an enemy faction’s territory.
Presence of the Bear Statue (Proximity Lottery)
When you’re near a Bear Statue, a small buff or debuff may be granted by lottery as the “Presence of the Bear Statue.”
- Near a positive Bear Statue … good effects are more likely
- Near a cursed Bear Statue … bad effects are more likely
It’s a high-risk, high-reward bit of fun you can enjoy like a game of chance.
Tips for Joining In
- First, be aware of the region and faction you’re in
- It’s effective to team up with your allies and concentrate Bear Statues in the same territory
- During the event period there are also chances like supply drops (airdrops), so keep an eye on the server announcements
